How do I update my Browser?

Last Updated: Jun 14, 2016
The way to update your browser is slightly different, depending on which browser you're using and whether you're on Windows or MacOS.

Windows browsers
  1.  Mozilla Firefox: click ""Help"", then ""About Firefox"". Firefox will check for updates automatically, and tell you if you need to update.
  2. Google Chrome: click the Wrench icon on the right of the screen, then click ""About Google Chrome"". Chrome will check for updates automatically, and tell you if you need to update.
  3. Apple Safari: run the ""Apple Software Update"" program from the Windows start menu, and install any available Safari updates.
  4. Microsoft Internet Explorer: visit http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com, and download and install any available updates for Internet Explorer.

Apple MacOS browsers
  1. Mozilla Firefox: click the ""Firefox"" menu, then ""About Firefox"". Firefox will check for updates automatically, and tell you if you need to update.
  2. Google Chrome: click the Wrench icon on the right of the screen, then click ""About Google Chrome"". Chrome will check for updates automatically, and tell you if you need to update.
  3.  Apple Safari: click the ""Apple"" icon in the top-left of your screen, then click ""Software update"". Install any available Safari updates.
